Why We Built the FT-8
The increased demand for a 4” main burners on heater treater applications, while still maintaining the pilotless operation.
The FT-8 was built to meet that demand.

- Inlet Size: 4″ NPT
- Ignition Type: Hot Surface Ignition
- Housing: Aluminum housing with stainless steel nozzle
- Sensor Options:
- AF model – Flame rod
- AT model – Thermocouple
The FT-8 is ideal for:
- Firetube applications with a 4” main burner.
It delivers the same plug-and-play performance, and sparkless ignition technology as the FT-2, FT-4, and FT-6 pilotless ignition systems, and is fully compatible with the SureFire BMS controllers.
